As microbes can build-up on cables of medical devices, Axon' Cable launches Noso-Free®, an innovating range of antimicrobial cables and cable assemblies.
They are made with dedicated jacketing and moulding materials which have anti microbial and anti fungi properties.
The patented process consists in incorporating silver ion micro-flux into the jacket, moulding and overmoulding of the assemblies. The presence of the silver ion at the surface disturbs or stops the process of growth and multiplication of bacterial cells.
